Vadym and Elyzaveta both know they are meant to be, but a series of betrayals and misunderstandings prevent them from being together. Even after almost a century, they are both too stubborn to give in. Because of this, Lilith, his queen, gives him a deadline. One he intends to ignore.
The sudden return of their enemy brings them back together in a way they never would have anticipated. A deadly threat forces them to leave their homes to start a new and safer life in a small town on the other side of the planet. Another unexpected tragedy makes her hate him all over again, and this time, she is not the only one.
When the most powerful witch in existence threatens their town and thus their lives, they know they have to find a way to kill her and her warlocks, and together, they just might be able to do so.
Vadym, leader of the Vampiri, now has to recover the love of his life as well as the love of his daughter. Not an easy task. What he doesn´t remember, is that it is only a matter of time until Lilith forces the deadline on them, threatening to kill the only woman meant for him…

Now here is a writer who isn’t afraid to jump right into the good stuff. If you remember a while back, when I shared the teasers for this post they were definitely of the erotic variety, there was no doubt about it that this book was for a mature audience.
When I first encountered S.J. Blackrose, she was preparing the release of Eternal Bloodthirst, her first book! As you may or may not know I have a sweet spot for debuting authors, and author’s debut books. There is something that is so raw about their work, and I absolutely love that. I also enjoy watching them grow as writers.
Enough of the ever rambling Banshee…
Equivalent to many (if not all) new authors and their first works, there is always room for improvement. Eternal Bloodthirst jumps right into the action and then unfolds into a complex story that clearly took some very detailed outlining and planning, which I hadn’t noticed until I reached the glossary. The epilogue to the story started off hot and heavy and it seemed like the author was eager to get the story typed out, and then the pace slows some and she really dove into the story she wanted to tell. S.J. Blackrose has a lot of talent, you can see it in the way she builds this story, it is just a matter of really honing in on what works for her as a writer.
Let’s talk about the story a little.
The story is so complex, that I am afraid if I try to explain it I will give away all the best parts. The Vampiri and Vanatori are so compound and intricately interwoven that if I explain one I will have to explain the other and in turn I will reiterate the entire story.
I love that I can’t explain it, and that I want to explain it all at the same time because I want you to find out all on your own!
Hurry up and read… I need to talk to someone to talk to about this book!
